Analysis of Relationship of Game Design and Topography in shooter games

With the help of Rémi DUMAS, we wrote an article about Analysis of the Relationship between Game Design and Topography. We mainly focus on shooter games, such as Arma, Fortnite, or Red Orchestra.

We had the help of M.Buchta Ivan, the Creative Director of Arma. M.Buchta did many works about topography, realism in Arma, and relations between science and game design (such as representing physical concepts in games). 

His help has been crucial for the conception of the article. Thanks to his e-mails and his conferences it helps us to get better how to concept a realistic map in shooter games such as Arma 3.

We also had the help of M.Fortin Tony, a writer about video games to get better references and better writing. But also the help of M.Fritzyk Franck, a technical level designer to get a new vision about the design of topographies. Finally, M.Mole Christopher helped us to get better English writing.
